AeroGel

This stuff is set to advance material science far into the future. Lighter than air, made by creating a gel substance, boiling it to extract the water, then injecting methane gas to make up for the lost water. The substance is then used for whatever.

• NASA used it to collect Meteor particles
• Insulation for space suits
• Projection surface for 3D views of objects, as light from 2 projectors are passed through and meet in the middel to construct the 3D image.
